Looking forward to... March

Hello Lovelies,

I hope you had a lovely February, mine was fantastic! I have just got back from Honeymoon hence why this post is more than a few days late! So continuing in this little series these are all the things I am looking forward to this month!

1. Spring
I love spring, all the lovely flowers and the birds in the trees. It always lifts my mood!

2. Easter
Flowers, bunnies and chocolate what's not to love? I also love going to church to celebrate the religious festival but even if your not religious its a wonderful celebration of new life, colour and stuffing your face with chocolate!

3. Redecorating the flat
This month we are hoping to do some reorganising and redecorating of the flat!

Let me know in the comments what you are looking forward to this month!
Hope you have a fab day and a wonderful month!

Lots of love

Looking Forward February...

Hello Lovelies,

A new post idea today (although someone has probably done this before). I'm going to post at the beginning of each month (hopefully) a list of things I am looking forward to in the coming month. February is rather special...

1) My Wedding!!!
I get to marry the love of my life, infront of all my friends and family!

And of course that leads to number
2) My Hen Do
Cocktails and giggles!! Not to mention vodka gummy bears!!

But before all that the classic
3) Valentines Day
Soo cringey but so good!

4) Deadpool!!
Been waiting far too long for this film!

5) Daffodils
Everywhere, they brighten up car journeys growing by the road. Plus they are about £1 a bunch to brighten up my windowsills.

What are you looking forward to this month? Please leave your suggestions in the comments!

Whatever your doing I hope you have a lovely month!

Lots of Love

Life update

Hello Lovelies,

My blogging schedule is as usual gone to pot before it started, I thought I'd just explain a few things.

As you may or may not know I suffer from a few conditions including CFS (or to be more specific Multi-Factoral Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) and several food allergies (which are playing havoc). I also struggle with mental health problems which I will go into in a different post.

Back in early January I finally got to see a specialist about my CFS, which wasn't quite as positive as I had hoped. I've been told that my needs are too complex to be treated by their specialist programme, which tbh feels like a right smack in the face even though I understand that they are right.

My CFS means that I have to use a wheelchair when I go out and a lot of the time I can't even get out of bed. It also affects my concentration, which makes blogging difficult. I love to blog and I will blog when I can but please be understanding?

The other things I'm going to talk about are my food allergies, at the moment they stand at milk, eggs, soya and gluten. But there is a positive spin to this one! When I have the energy I try out recipes a lot as otherwise food options are very limited. Some are more successful than others but I have a few great healthy recipes that I could share with you is you are interested?

Sorry if this was a bit of a downer post but I thought an explanation was needed for my erratic at best blogging style.

Please let me know in the comments if there are any types of posts you would like to read? Would you like some healthy recipes on here?

Lots of love

Happy New Year!

Hello lovelies,

I hope you've had a lovely christmas how ever you spent it, and I hope 2016 brings you evry happiness and sucess. Rather than look back at the past though I shall endeavor to look forward to the year to come, with enthusiasum and just little trepidation. I have lots of exciting things coming up this year not least of which my wedding which is approaching very fast (next month!).

This year I will make an effort to appreciate everything and everyone around me, life is a precious thing and sometimes I think we forget to treasure it as prehaps we should. Expect a few more post about homewear as I want to really focus on making our flat a proper home (with the help of pinterest).

I will also be posting a few more recipes and cookery posts, I'm getting used to my allergies and cooking around them, I'm also trying to cook more from scratch with the help of Reece, something that for many years due to my illnesses I have been unable to do. This year I refuse to let my illness define me and to limit the amount I allow it to affect me!

Soo no this is not the steriotypical "new year new me" post but I do think that a new year is a great excuse to make positive changes. Having said that everyday is a new start so there are no excuses!

What changes are you making this new year? Or is your resolution to keep going just the way you are because it's working just fine for you? I'd love to hear from you in the comments! Also any ideas for posts you would like to see would be fabulous!

Lots of love
