Yummy Yorkshire Ice Cream!!!

Hey guys :)

           I've been feeling really ill this week and haven't been out, I've been meaning to film all week and haven't been well enough. But whats better when you not feeling great than a nice ice cream :)

          We decided to go out for ice cream with my parents to a local ice cream parlour called Yummy Yorkshire. They do all sorts of fun, bespoke flavours and a really chic cute little cafe to eat in. They have a new little chalet/beach hut which is where we ate. I loved the decorations and the staff were all as lovely as usual, well worth a visit is your in the area.

       Decided to go for a little trip out to a cute little cafe near our flat :). I had Victoria sponge, mum had a blueberry scone and Reece had chocolate pizza. They were all yummy and the staff were lovely :).

Hey guys!

        Soo I'm back :) having a real lazy day today just watching YouTube videos what not :P buuuuuttt I've been on a little online make up shopping spree to treat myself cos I've been poorly and I wanna feel good for college :). Obviously then best way to perk myself up is an ELF and MUA haul cos I can get soo soo much stuff for my money!!

         Reece has promised to give me a hand to get video editing soo hopefully I will be putting YouTube videos up in the not too distant future #exciting.

         Are there any particular types of videos you would like to see? I can do vlogs, reviews, hauls etc... Anymore ideas?? I'd love to hear from you don't leave me feeling lonely :'(

Life Update

Hey Guys :)

            Thought is was about time for a quick life update. I haven't posted for a while again (slaps back of hand "naughty Hannah") but that is because life has been a little turbulent.

New Flat
         Me and Reece have moved into a new flat under my parents house. This is exciting but also more than a tad stressful, we currently have a bedroom, kitchen/living space and bathroom (shower to come). We are currently having to go to my parents for showers which is rather annoying but other than that the new flat is pretty great :). Oh and the fact that we have no wardrobes so the flat is awash with clothes :L.

Back to College
          I have also recently gone back to college to study musical theatre, fine art and psychology. College is stressful, but also freeing, you are allowed the freedom to be yourself. If you want to wear a face full of elaborate make-up you can, if you want to dye your hair bright colours you can. 
          I should be on 2nd year but I decided to restart this year at a different college doing very different courses. 
          College is a very difficult time but it should also be a very fun and expressive time, it is a very important developmental stage, a big step in discovering who you really are.

             We are still going strong ( as you may have guessed by the flat situation :P). We are at the same college and spend most of our time together, I really could never ask for a better boyfriend.

Things you miss at a music festival...

Hiya guys

Soo I've been away for a few days at a music festival. It was great but I thought I'd do a post on the products I missed while away (I had to pack light soo it really was bear essentials)

I took with me: Lush shower jelly
                         Lidl apple and tea tree shampoo and conditioner (bought while a away)
                         Make-up bag consisting of: Concealer (collection)
                                                                     Foundation (loose powder) (rimmel)
                                                                     Blush (benefit)
                                                                     Kjal Eyeliner Pencil (avon, colourtrend)
                                                                     Mascara (Maxfactor)
I also took my Real Techniques Expert Face brush and a non branded but very soft blush brush.

As you can see this was fairly minimal, but there were a few products that I really missed which shows how much I like them, the list is as follows;

1)  L'Oreal Elvive Full Restore 5 Repairing shampoo and conditioner 
     I love this shampoo and conditioner, I find they really help to undo the damage I have done to my hair over the past few years. I've recently been trying to take better care of my hair by using keratin treatments and avoiding heat. This shampoo and conditioner duo has a keratin treatment built in and is at very affordable price. All in all a five star product.

2) Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy Anti-breakage serum
   When I went shopping for keratin hair products I was instantly drawn to the Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy range, they are however rather pricey and the above shampoo and conditioner big bottles were on offer in Boots. Soo I decided that I would treat myself to the slightly more expensive serum and it was really worth it! It smells delicious and leaves my hair soft and manageable, I missed it soo much this weekend especially as I went swimming.

3) Palmer's Cocoa Butter
    I don't think this needs much explaining, it's a staple moisturiser that smells yummy and leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised all day long. I missed this particularly after a long day in the sun and after swimming.

4) Botanics Organic Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm
    This is by far the best product I have found for cleansing my face. It leaves my face feeling soft and moisturised and clean without being at all tight. It smells lovely and natural and pleasant, a little like organic pale honey.

Sorry for the break...

Apologies for the HUGE gap there has been since my last post. I've been going through a rough time, I broke up with my first proper boyfriend who I'd been dating for five months, my ME/CFS has been playing up horrendously which has severely affected my body image and anorexia, due to the fact that I am unable to exercise. I have also had a lot of work to prepare for my return to college in September.

On the bright side things are starting to look up, I have been with my current boyfriend for just over two months and he makes me happier than I could ever imagine. My ME is still bad and this is still leading to poor body image but Reece is supporting me through it.

I have had my place confirmed at college to study music, musical theatre, dance and art. I am excited to start but i have a lot of work to complete over the holidays to prepare.

 I will try to keep posting regularly as it really does help me but obviously I am starting to be quite busy with preparation work, friends and Reece, plus looking after my pets who I will introduce you too in a later post.

Ikea, Boots and Game of Thrones...

Hey guys your back (woop woop!! :D).

Had a rather unusual day today. I set off this morning to go to The Trafford Centre with my parents and go to Yo! Sushi (yum!!). But it was soo busy when we got to Trafford Centre we decided to come away and go instead to my other favourite pass time IKEA :).

I actually have a love affair with IKEA its one of my favourite places on Earth. Soo instead of sushi we ended up going to the Ikea restaurant I had Salmon fillet with hollandaise sauce (nom nom :P) and then tried their new pudding raspberry and custard tart. Ohhhh wow.... I actually shared my tart with Dad and he tried it first and didn't really like it soo my hopes weren't high (even tho raspberries and custard are like my favourite things ever). But it was like the most gorgeous thing ever defo a new favourite :)

Bought a few essentials like the 100 pack of tealights (£1.70!!!! And yes, yes they are essential :P), a new 50p candle stick holder (50p... really?!?) and a new waste paper basket for £1 (gotta love IKEA prices).

I also bought a couple of slightly less boring items :P. I got a plain wooden laptop support that is a gorgeous duck egg blue underneath (which I'm using now #blogginginbed :P). It was rather awkward to build (yes you do have to build a laptop support who knew?) the screws were not up to the job i had to use my own screws to make the holes big enough for their screws. (£6.50 for family card holders)

My find of the day was a usb LED lamp in red (£2) not quite sure if its a gimmick or not but it is rather cute :P.

I then went to boots to get the Boots Botanicals cleansing balm as my face had gone very dry from using spot reducing face washes. Finger crossed it will help :) At £5.99 it was relatively expensive for a cleanser but very inexpensive for a cleansing balm, its a concept I've been wanting to try and this seemed a good way to try it out :). A review will be along soon once I've had a chance to give it a proper test drive :P

Currently chilling in my room watching Game of Thrones for the first time :) What do you think of it guys? I'm not sure yet I'd love to hear your opinions :)

Hey guys...
