Hello Lovelies,
Soo today is the last of the month soo in keeping with the status quo it's time for my monthly favourites, I shall endeavor to do one every month (as the term monthly would suggest). Soo without further ado *takes a deep breath* here we go...
Lets start with skincare I only have one this month and that is possibly my favourite skincare product of all time, Liz Earle's Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion. It's such a simple idea, in a morning you just pop a bit on two cotton pads and sweep it over the eye area, (I love to just gently press them over my eyes to get the whole benefit), it feels like I have used eyedrops in my eyes and a light moisturiser over my entire eye area. It gets rid of the itchy, dry, stingy eyes I get in a morning. It also removes all traces of sleep from my eyes and refreshes me ready to face the day! It costs £14 and is available here.
Next onto make-up and I have two favourites this month.
First up is a mascara from Avon. The Mega Effects Mascara is a new product and is a very different shape to the standard mascara. The brush is on its side soo the whole thing is shaped almost like a spoon which I actually found very easy to use although it is rather easy to get the product on the lids or underneath the eye when applying. The brush is made up of quite long defined rubber bristles of varying lengths, and the product and brush provide to me the perfect balance of seperation, length and volume, which to me is a bold claim that seldom rings true. This time however Avon have hit and excelled the very high bar they set for themselves! It is priced at £10 and is avaliable here.
My second make-up favourite is an autumn staple in my make-up bag, Topshops lipstick in Wicked. The formula is lovely, creamy and pigmented and the colour is a gorgeous, rich berry perfect as we head towards those colder months. It is priced at £8 but students get a 10% discount, it is avaliable here.
For body care I have been loving Soap and Glory's The Breakfast Scrub. It's fine granules exfoliate effectively withotu being too harsh ad leaves behind just enough residue to leave your skin feeling soft without being greasy. But one of my favourite things about this scrub is the smell! It smells like a sweet bananas, maple syrup and oatmeal which I love although it is too sweet for some people but I love it. It comes in at £8 and is avaliable here.
Keep your eyes peeled later tonight as they're might be a sneaky bonus post, don't forget to hit that suscribe button if you want to stay up to date with all my rambles through the world of beauty, lifestyle and the rest.

Hiya sweeties,
I apologies for my consistantly inconsistant posting, I have recently moved house and now things are starting to be far more settled. With any luck my new posting schedule will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with possibly the occasional sneaky Sunday post nestled in here and there.
Todays post is inspired (but in no way sponsored) by GAP and the wonderful Ellen Degeneres, they have launched a collaboration range, boasting the message that people can be and do whatever they want to, without fear of judgement.
The campaign features six young girls who have all excelled in various non "traditional" disciplines including drumming, robotics and skateboarding.
The message is you don't have to be a sheep, just following the crowd, doing things just because it's the "done thing".
Being an individual is hard. It's soo much easier to do what everyone else is doing but it won't make you truly happy, what will make you happy is doing the things that you love. I'm not getting at any activity or trend at all. If your'e a belieber or a directioner good for you don't let anyone call you for it, if you're a girl and you like all things "girly" like make-up and fashion and hate getting muddy great, but if your dream is to play football do it! If you like to put on your make-up and heels after your MMA session do it!
People are not made to be put into boxes and labelled, you can enjoy as many or as few activites as you like. The important thing is that you do what makes you you.
I hope that has given you a little something to think about on a monday evening.
Lots of Love
Hannah Lu
